Light winds plagued the 3rd day at the IFDS World Championships. All fleets were sent out for a 1300 start however the Halifax seabreeze didn’t fill in as predicted and all fleets squeezed in only one race in very light breeze.

The Canadian Sonar team Tingley/Campbell/Lutes worked hard to maintain good position throughout their race and scored a 5, maintaining the lead and the point spread above FRA (Jourdren/Vimont Vicary) & GBR (Robertson/Stodel).

The Canadian SKUD duo McRoberts/Gay continue to hold a tight grip on 4th place behind the dominant GBR & AUS.

The first race on the 2.4mR course was abandoned and after a course change, the fleet raced through a tight course closer to shore. CST sailor Bruce Millar struggled off the start and had a tough time finding some clear air in the hefty fleet. He sits in 10th after a race drop with plenty more sailing to come.
