Picking up judo at age 17, Alexander Radoman attributes his success in the sport to patience. A native of Hamilton, Ont. he has recently relocated to Montréal to train at the Institut National du Sport du Québec as a member of the National Training Centre for Judo.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

The highlight of Radoman’s career is a silver medal at the Germany Open in February 2014. He looks forward to competing internationally on home soil at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games and has his sights set on qualifying for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

 

PERSONAL

A former wrestler, and with a degree in recreation and leisure from Mohawk College, Radoman is a strong proponent of the importance and value of sport. In his free time, he enjoys taking care of his two snakes, a boa constrictor and a royal python.
